Access to Emerald Fulltext on a go-slow
Emerald Insight are carrying out server maintenance which means that we’re experiencing slow response times when accessing the Emerald Fulltext database, particularly when trying to open PDF or HTML documents (the delay can be as long as 5+ minutes). Hopefully normal service will be restored shortly, but I will let you know when Emerald report that their work is completed.
Emerald: remote search delays
Remote searches of the Emerald platform from eSearch have been intermittently slow over the past week, resulting in some cases in search requests, and requests for full record display, timing out. Investigations are continuing with Emerald to identify the cause. In the meantime, remote searches of Emerald in eSearch may be temporarily disabled if the problem returns.
