New resource: Sage Knowledge Video Collections

THE LIBRARY NOW provides access to over 4,800 videos from the Sage Video Knowledge Collections.

The resource showcases:

Educational videos across key social, behavioral, and health science disciplines. Each collection includes a breadth of video types to support diverse learning and research needs. All videos are fully citeable with searchable transcripts and custom clip creation.

New resource: Carcanet Collection

THE LIBRARY NOW provides access to over 300 titles from the Carcanet Collection of poetry and literary criticism.

The resource includes:

New work from the poets laureate of Jamaica (Mervyn Morris) and Wales (Gillian Clarke), a debut from Joey Connolly, plus from Sinead Morrissey, Tara Bergin, Caroline Bird and Karen McCarthy Woolf. Carcanet publishes a diverse list of modern and classic poetry in English and in translation, as well as a range of fiction, lives and letters and literary criticism.

ALEPH – problem with remote search services resolved

The restart of the ALEPH server has cleared the problem that SFX was experiencing in querying the Library Catalogue – so links in SFX to ALEPH have been reinstated and confirmed as working.
