Essential maintenance will be carried out on the VLeBooks platform between 22:00 Sat 25 January and 04:00 Sun 26 January.

Access to their e-book content will be unavailable during this time.

The library apologises for any interruption in service that this causes.

eZproxy authentication – scheduled maintenance – Saturday 21 December 2024

A scheduled system maintenance period for eZproxy authentication, one of our single-sign on services, will begin Saturday 21 December between 05:00 and 18:00 hours.

The provider advises that this authentication service will be unavailable for approximately six hours during this maintenance window so off-campus access to some of our electronic resources and journals may be unavailable during this time and you may see a connection timeout or connection refused page.

The provider advises that in the event of access issues to try again later or outside of the scheduled maintenance period.

Withdrawn Resource: Nielsen Portfolio (Creative Club UK)

Please note that Nielsen Portfolio (Creative Club UK) has been withdrawn from the library’s Find Databases service following non-renewal of the licensing agreement.

THE LISTING FOR Oxford Dictionary of National Biography has been withdrawn from the library’s Find Databases service following the cancellation of the subscription due to low levels of usage.

The Internet Archive site which includes the Wayback Machine and other services is temporarily offline due to a cyberincident.

Access to the Wayback Machine has been restored in a read-only capacity from this website: https://web.archive.org/

And the Internet Archive team are working to bring the rest of the other services online safely as soon as they can.

New resource: Sage Knowledge Video Collections

THE LIBRARY NOW provides access to over 4,800 videos from the Sage Video Knowledge Collections.
