VLeBooks – scheduled maintenance – 19 September 2020
A scheduled system maintenance period for the VLeBooks and Askews and Holt e-book platforms will begin Saturday 19 September 2020 between 22:00 and 03:00 Sunday 20 September.
The provider advises that the service may be unavailable during these times.

Nexis UK – access restored
The Nexis UK technical team have now resolved the recent issue of authentication errors when attempting to access Nexis UK from both on and off campus.
Access should now be available for both staff and students.
Nexis UK have apologised for the length of the outage and any disruption this may have caused.

Nexis UK – database unavailable
We have received reports of an authentication error message when attempting to access Nexis UK from both on and off campus.

We are currently working with Nexis UK support to try and resolve this issue.
Learning on Screen – scheduled maintenance – 22 May 2020
A scheduled system maintenance period for the Learning on Screen platform will begin Friday 22 May 2020 between 14:00 and 20:00. The provider advises that the following services may be unavailable during these times:

Refworks – scheduled maintenance – 10 May 2020

A scheduled system maintenance period for the Refworks platform will begin Sunday 10 May 2020, between 02:00 and 14:00(UK time). During this twelve hour period the following services will unavailable:

A ROUTINE MAINTENANCE period on the ProQuest platform is scheduled for Sunday 9 February 2020, between 3:00 and 15:00 (UK time).
This means that the following ProQuest databases, eBook platforms and services, to which the library subscribes, will be unavailable throughout the first six hour period, 3:00 to 9:00 (UK time).
And upon completion of the maintenance window, for an additional six hours from 9:00 to 15:00, automatic citation functionality and MyResearch account access will continue to be unavailable:
