Off campus access using University username and password is now working again.

The streaming video service Box of Broadcasts (BoB) has just announced an issue with the Electronic Programming Guide (EPG).
They will update when the issue is resolved.
UPDATE, 15:20: BoB has announced there will be a brief downtime as they try to resolve this issue.

There is currently no off campus access to Oxford University Press ejournals. Signing in via your institution results in the following error page.

This is currently being investigated by the supplier.
On campus access remains unaffected.
Yesterdays’ access issues with the VLeBook platform has now been resolved by the supplier.
The out of date security certificate at the root of the problem has been renewed by the company.
Access to our e-books titles has been restored, with direct on-campus access and off-campus access available by university username and password.

There is currently an issue when trying to access some of our e-book content via Library OneSearch. Ebooks supplied by VLebooks.com currently redirect to a privacy warning screen when you try to view online.

This has been reported and is currently under investigation.
Elsevier are currently investigating an issue with sign in for off campus access.
After arriving at an article page if you choose the purchase pdf option and then sign in via your institution, after selecting Nottingham Trent University login and completing NTU single sign in, you are presented with a 404 error page.

Until this is resolved off campus users should select the sign in option to the top right of the screen, as this ‘sign in via your institution’ route works ok.

Oxford University Press have now resolved the issue of certain chapters from their e-books not downloading.
The PDF generator was timing out before delivering the pdf which resulted in the error message.

There is still currently an off campus sign-in problem for Highwire Press e-Duke Journals Scholarly Expanded Collection.
The technical team at Duke University Press have now restored Nottingham Trent University to the UK Access institution list, however choosing this option and signing in reloads the journals home page rather than the article page.
Once the original article is rediscovered full text access is enabled.
The technical team at Duke University Press are still investigating this issue.
**Update 15 June 2018 – sign in issues now fully resolved. After a successful sign in the article page is returned with full text access.**

The ability to view pdf versions of chapters from our Oxford Handbook Online e-books is currently not working. When choosing this option a failed to open pdf message appears on screen. The e-books can still be read on screen.
Oxford University Press are investigating the cause.

There is currently an off campus sign-in problem for Highwire Press e-Duke Journals Scholarly Expanded Collection.
When you choose ‘Sign in via your Institution’ Nottingham Trent University no longer appears in the UK Access institution list.
The technical team at Duke University Press are currently investigating this issue.

A scheduled maintenance period for the Box of Broadcasts platform is due on Thursday 01 February 2018 between 07:00 and 09:00. The provider advises that the service may be at risk during these times.

A scheduled maintenance period for some Proquest products including ProQuest Central, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global and Refworks is due on Sunday 28 January 2017 between 3:00 and 11:00.
The provider has advised that these platforms will be unavailable during this time.
