THE ISSUES AFFECTING log in on the Oxford University Press journal platform reported yesterday have now been resolved.
Access to all subscribed content on the OUP journal site is available to staff and students once more.
THE TECHNICAL TEAM behind the Oxford University Press (OUP) journals platform are working to fix a problem affecting login requests.
At present, attempts to log in to the platform either using Shibboleth or eZproxy resolve to a ‘400 bad request’ error page.
A further update will follow once the issue is confirmed as resolved.
There is currently no off campus access to Oxford University Press ejournals. Signing in via your institution results in the following error page.
This is currently being investigated by the supplier.
On campus access remains unaffected.
An account configuration problem, which was preventing NTU Athens authentication requests from being processed by Oxford University Press Journals Online, has now been resolved, and off-campus requests for the full-text of subscribed OUP titles are now being accepted normally.
OUP have reported that they are experiencing problems with full-text access to some of their ejournal titles. Selective testing has not identified any issues with sample titles from our subscription profile, but please advise eServices is you encounter any difficulties with OUP titles online.
