VLeBooks – migration to new reader com.

VLeBooks home page banner

During August one of our ebook providers, Askews and Holt, will be launching a new enhanced reader to replace the existing VLEeBooks reader.

Once migrated to the new reader any browser bookmarks for particular titles will no longer work and these will need to be re-accessed via Library OneSearch.

In preparation for the migration any user who wishes to save any notes stored on the current reader will be required to export these by Friday 12th July, otherwise they will be lost.

Any titles stored within ‘My Bookshelves’ also need to be noted for future addition to the new reader as these will not transfer over when migration happens.

The new reader will include many new features such as highlighting, sophisticated note options, improved accessibility and mobile responsiveness.
