Greenleaf Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) – access arrangements changed

Access arrangements for the eBooks in the Greenleaf Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) (a collection originally enabled in Library OneSearch in July 2013) have been amended.

The SOL is now made available through its own bespoke interface within the ingentaconnect platform. All links in LOS records for SOL eBooks have been amended to point to this new interface.

As this bespoke platform is not yet Shibboleth compliant (in the way that the main ingentaconnect interface is) off-campus access to titles in this collection has been enabled through eZproxy. This means that on-campus access remains direct; while off-campus access (through Library OneSearch) is by university username and password.

New resource: Greenleaf Sustainable Organization Library (SOL)

Access to the Greenleaf Sustainable Organization Library (SOL), provided through the IngentaConnect platform, has been enabled in Library OneSearch. Access is direct on-campus, and by university username and password from off-campus. The resource is described as follows:

The Greenleaf Sustainable Organization Library (SOL) is an online library of books and journal issues focused on sustainability and social responsibility, drawn from a number of partner publishers including Greenleaf Publishing, Practical Action Publishing and Peter Lang. The SOL contains approximately 380 volumes (books, journal themed issues and journal issues) and 5500 papers.

Individual records for the 260+ eBook titles in the collection have been added to the main index of Library OneSearch. Each record contains a deep-link to the title level, which will authenticate and resolve from both on-campus and off-campus locations. Additional eBook records will by added to LOS as the number of titles in the collection increases.

Titles within the collection include:
Spirituality and business: a Christian viewpoint; Entrepreneurial communications; and Professional ethics.
